What do you stand to gain?
- Research experience through guided hands-on exposure and involvement in CSDR’s programmatic and research activities;
- Exposure to the working environment of a policy research think-tank and a better understanding of developmental and security issues in the Southern Asian region.
Duration: Selected applicants would be engaged by CSDR for a period of 2-6 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research in thematic priority areas as determined by assigned supervisors;
- Compile resources pertaining to the requirements of individual projects hosted by CSDR;
- Provide research and programmatic support to CSDR’s centres - seminars, workshops, conferences, publications etc.
Mode & Stipend: In person. Residence in New Delhi is mandatory. All CSDR interns are provided a modest monthly stipend.
General requirements: Applicants having completed a bachelor’s degree in international relations, diplomacy, area studies, security studies and allied fields. Applicants must be able to commit 35 hours a week to CSDR. Applications will be judged on academic performance and writing skills.
