South Asian Futures Fellowship Programme

The South Asian Futures Fellowship supports 15 ECRs from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan to explore NTS issues in South Asia, offering residencies, publications, and expert workshops.

The South Asian Futures Fellowship Programme is an annual Fellowship Programme that supports 15 Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and thought leaders who are based in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan to expand their work on non-traditional security (NTS) issues in South Asia.

The fellowship advances and mainstreams geopolitical analysis of NTS issues in South Asia by facilitating and incentivizing knowledge production, providing professional development opportunities to selected ECRs and elevating their profiles through a year-long engagement programme. Fellows get an opportunity to undertake regional residencies, publish short and long-form articles and participate in workshops on geopolitical analysis with leading experts from South Asia. More can be read about the Fellowship at SAFF website.
