The Indo-Pak Climate Collective is a platform which brings together experts from India and Pakistan in order to promote bilateral cooperation on various aspects of Climate Change mitigation, adaptation, and Transboundary Environmental Governance (TEG).
In 2023, the Indo-Pak Climate Collective focused on the issue of Transboundary Smog in India and Pakistan and covered – Agriculture Residue Burning, Vehicular Pollution, Air Pollution Monitoring. The IPCC also engaged with experts involved in the drafting of the ASEAN haze agreement in order to understand how a similar framework could be adopted in the South Asian region.
