Amen is a Research Associate at CSDR and works on projects under the Indo-Pacific and Climate Security and Diplomacy programs.
Amen is a Research Associate at CSDR and works on projects under the Indo-Pacific and Climate Security and Diplomacy programs. In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Delhi University, she holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from University College Dublin, Ireland, where she studied conflict and peacekeeping in MENA, West Asia, and its varied impact on safety, health, gender, and security in the concerned regions. She has previously worked on various projects with the UN’s Migration Agency, IOM, in Ireland and Sudan. With the Irish mission, her work involved stakeholder management and external consulting in reviewing an ongoing program at the mission. Amen’s dedication to her work is evident in her achievements. She was one of the 20 interns selected worldwide for IOM’s Diversity and Inclusion Internship Programme 2021, where she was assigned to the Sudanese mission. Her work there focused on the ongoing conflict in Sudan and its impact on health and sanitation resources for vulnerable populations, showcasing her ability to handle challenging situations. She has also gained experience in overseeing project cycles, with a focus on monitoring evaluation and end-stage reporting. Her passion lies in combining project design and development with research on the impact of non-traditional security issues on health, security, migration, and climate.
