Pranav Satyanath

Pranav R Satyanath is a Research Associate at CSDR. At CSDR’s Space Technology and Policy vertical, he works on issues related to India’s domestic space sector and the evolution of space policy and law in India.
Pranav Satyanath’s research focuses on the intersection of technology and policy. He has authored several reports, essays, and op-eds on various topics such as reducing risks in outer space, promoting international space cooperation, and the politics surrounding nuclear weapons. His working paper on practical measures to reduce security risks in space was published by the United Nations Open-Ended Working Group. Pranav’s other academic interests include the history of arms control negotiations and the social shaping of technology. He holds an M.A. from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
